McGinnis Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. was founded in 1963 by Richard McGinnis, Sr. and incorporated in 1965. Currently the company is in its second generation of operation with Richard McGinnis, Jr. overseeing the day to day operations of the company.

McGinnis Electrical specializes in Industrial and Commercial Electrical Contracting. We limit our services to these areas so that we can provide top-quality services at reasonable prices. By developing expertise in these two areas McGinnis has been able to establish lasting relationships, some of which go back to our founding days!

We have completed projects for numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as privately owned companies. Our ability to service small and large customers enables us to stay on the leading edge of technology. This customer diversity provides a stable base in which to grow our business.

We are a bonded company and our insurance limits are some of the highest in the industry. We are licensed Electrical Contractors in Pittsburgh, PA, the State of West Virginia and the State of Ohio.
